Codfather is an uptown tiptop restaurant where you can go to flaunt your style. It is stylish, elegant with a warm atmosphere. The lighting is soothing and makes the place look classy. The crowd is trendy, well dressed, it is not a kind place your visit without seriously considering your attire. The menu and meals do match the look as well. If you want to eat well, you have to be willing to pay the bill. Don't forget to tip the waiter. They have a great selection of premium liquor, and beverages. Their meals are well made. Outside is an ice cream stand with water based ice creams. The have a good selection of flavors. The ice creams do not disappoint. I strongly recommend this place.

Absolutely blown away by the experience at Codfather Polo Fields! The seafood is unbelievably fresh — the lobsters from Mossel Bay and prawns from Mozambique were next level. Every bite was a taste of the ocean. The atmosphere is relaxed yet refined, and the margaritas? Incredible. Perfectly mixed and dangerously good. If you’re a seafood lover or just looking for a top-tier dining experience, this place is a must.

The food was amazing the pasta was so tasty. Idk if it's because I just love basil, it was hearty and the seafood was flavourful and fresh. The platter for 1 was delicious. Each and every item on the plate was scrumptious. The sauce the mussels was cooked in was divine. The flavours and textures of everything were different and cooked just right. I didn't even use any salt or condiments. The Fruit Bomb was so delicious. Exactly what I had requested. Something fresh, zesty and tasty. Let's talk about the ambience 10/10. Was abit sad the tables outside weren't open for seating cause the view was beautiful the Gelato or ice cream on the Google Maps pics got me there. And the stand was empty

Lovely place. The venue is well setup and upmarket. The food is delicious. A wide variety to choose from. We had a very good lunch. The only thing I would say needs work is there cocktails. Rather stay away and order a normal drink. That said will definitely return.

My experience at The Codfather, really beautiful place, lovely ambience. We were seated next to the fireplace which was so welcome on the cold night. The food was divine, I could not fault the food except the prawns didn't easily come out of the shell. The cocktail and shooter menu needs to be renewed because there is too few to choose from. The staff and waiter were absolutely friendly, I will definitely visit again. Also the spacing between tables are great.

We had a wonderful lunch here. Incredible seafood, delicious wines. Service was impeccable too. Not cheap but worth every cent.

Very beautiful restaurant with very comfortable furniture. Great atmosphere for a relaxed time with family, friends or as a couple. Upstairs seating is more beautiful with a great view of Waterfall City. The atmosphere is 5 star. The food is prepared so well with amazing flavours. The portions are generous, but I don't believe that the lamb ribs are 400g as they claim. Extensive menu with lots of seafood options. All their fish are tasty and fresh. Dessert: the ice creams are amazing but avoid the "nutty chocolate brownie" - very horrible and super moist. Otherwise, the food is 5 star. The service is a major disappointment! Even places like Spur and Wimpy have better service. The waitresses who have served us were nonchalant and absent. The only thing she managed to bring before we even forgot that we asked for it was the bill. When we asked for tomato suave she told me that they didn't have any. Unbelievable! There is a Super Spar next door, go buy tomato sauce. But thankfully she brought some some 15 minutes later. Great food should be accompanied by great service! Unfortunately, here the service is 2 star.
